Erik Furuheim Presents: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians

One Night Only: Tuesday, Dec 17 @ 7:30pm

Santa Claus kidnapped by Martians!? Will the children on Earth have no toys on Christmas day? Does this mean the end of Christmas as we know it???

Adapted from the cult-classic 1964 B-movie of the same name, Santa Claus Conquers The Martians offers off-the-wall humor and an escape from stereotypical holiday fare. With a distinct retro flair, this production aims to warm your cold, dead heart and make you laugh yourself off your chair in the process.

Director Erik Furuheim is thrilled to share this long-running holiday tradition from his theater days back in southern California, and he is thrilled to see it coming to life at Bainbridge Performing Arts. Featuring a talented cast of actors and improvisers, you can expect the unexpected; a zany script, a seat that will put you right in the middle of the action, retro-inspired audio and visual effects, and a light-hearted Saturday Night Live performance style. You never know when things might go off the rails!

Please join us for this one-night-only performance! Whether you love the B-movie genre, or just need a break from traditional Christmas entertainment, there’s something for everyone. It’s widely considered the worst movie ever made… how much worse could the stage show be? There’s only one way to find out… dun dun duuuunnnn!

This production is suitable for all audiences.
