To ensure all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we offer designated wheelchair and companion seating in both Row D and Row K, clearly marked on our ticketing site. To enhance accessibility, we've installed an elevator that facilitates access to Row K for guests utilizing wheelchairs and their companions.

When planning your visit, if you have any questions or wish to discuss accessibility requirements, we encourage you to reach out to our Box Office, where our staff will be happy to assist you in reserving the most suitable seating for you. Experience every note, thanks to our state-of-the-art Magnetic Loop System, made possible by the generous support of the Bainbridge Island Rotary Club. This advanced system directly connects the auditorium's audio to hearing aids and cochlear implants equipped with a Telecoil (T-coil) function, providing crystal clear sound directly to your device.

Here's how to connect:

1. If your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a T-coil, switch it to the 'T' setting. This may be a button, switch, or setting accessed via remote control or smartphone app. This setting turns off the device's external microphone, allowing you to receive audio directly from our Magnetic Loop System.

2. Sit back and enjoy the show! The system will transmit our auditorium's sound straight to your hearing aid or implant. No additional equipment is necessary.

For those without T-coils or who are unable to access the system, our Box Office has portable receiver packs and headphones available on request.

Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to offer an “Open Doors” program. Free and reduced-cost tickets to most events are available to community members in need through our partner Helpline House thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Service animals that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act are always welcome at BPA. Service animals must be leashed or harnessed at all times and must also remain quiet for the courtesy of our actors and patrons. Please alert the Box Office at the time of ticket purchase if you intend to bring a service animal so that we may ensure that proper seating is reserved for you. We recommend purchasing seats in Row D & K when possible as these seats are unfixed and there is extra space underneath and in front. This provides extra room for the comfort of your Service Animal.

The Founders’ Room is a sensory-accessible space that offers patrons the option to view performances in a calm, comfortable, and adaptable environment. The Founders’ room is open for patrons to use as they require during performances, and can also be reserved in advance if you choose. To reserve the Founders’ Room, purchase a ticket for each attendee in our general seating area, then notify our Box Office by phone or email of your preference to access the Founders’ Room. You may also contact the Box Office to arrange both at the same time.

Please note, patrons who have reserved the space are not obligated to use it. Both your seats in the main auditorium and the Founders' Room will be available for you to use as you choose. Your experience, your choice. During performances when the Founders' Room is reserved, it will not be available for open use. Please contact our Box Office to enquire about availability.
