THEATRE SCHOOL

We offer high-quality, individualized performing arts education to children, teens, and adults. Our program serves as a platform for creativity, compassion, and connection, empowering students to embrace their authentic selves and grow as individuals, performers, and castmates. While celebrating their unique voices and perspectives, students of all ages will develop their skills and thrive both on and off the stage.

BPA Theatre School is dedicated to inclusivity and equity. Our scholarship program ensures all students can participate, regardless of financial barriers. If able, please consider donating to support resources and scholarships for our students.

    Astronomy and Theatre

    August 3 - 7, 10 am to 1 pm

    BPA excitedly reconnections and collaborates again with Battle Point Astronomical Association! Held in their space, this camp invites students to find inspiration in the cosmos, discovering how the universe’s rhythms can enhance our creativity, self-growth, and storytelling. Through theatre exercises and artistic exploration, we’ll connect the wonders of space with the art of performance.

    BPA & BARN: Behind the Scenes Workshop!

    July 6–10, (Mon- Fri)
    9 AM–12 PM: ages 10–12 (Grades 5–7)

    Join this creative summer camp—off stage! Hop over to BARN to explore and help develop the behind-the-scenes magic of BPA Theatre School’s summer show Peter and the Starcatcher. You’ll dive into set pieces, props, costume-making, and more—then see your work come to life on stage for the big summer show!

    Led by both a BARN instructor, Laurel Marlantes (AM), and Tina Guldhammer Frei (PM).

    Stage Moves Choreography Camp

    Beginner Camp
    June 29–July 2 (Mon–Thurs)
    2:30–4:30 PM, Ages 9–13
    A fun, welcoming introduction to choreography, movement, and musical theatre themes. This workshop focuses on play, creativity, and confidence-building for students with little to no prior experience.

    July 6-10, Mon- Fri, 2:30-4:30 PM
    Ages 11–17
    Designed for students with musical theatre and/or dance experience, or those who have take a class with Anna. This camp dives a little deeper into choreography, musicality, and ensemble work—refreshing skills and exploring new movement with intention and energy.

    Clowning Camp

    July 13–17 | 2:30–5:00 PM
    Ages 11- 14 (Grades 5-9)

    Join this creative camp of learning clowning, improv, and physical comedy and how they are deeply interconnected: all focus on observation, spontaneity, physical storytelling, and emotional expressiveness, making them perfect for 11–14 year olds to grow confidence, teamwork, and creativity while having a ton of fun. This camp will be a total blast.

    Improv Workshop

    Sunday, July 12, 11 AM - 2 PM

    Have you ever taken improv before— maybe a beginner class or workshop awhile back? Want to jump back in, sharpen some skills, and play again, but don’t have time for a weekly class? This workshop is for you!

    Acronym Bonanza: Beyond C.R.O.W.

    Together, we’ll explore additional handy acronyms and tools to keep in your “improv toolbox” — helping you heighten scenes, make stronger choices, and better support your fellow players. Let’s have a blast and play together for a few hours!

    Improv Classes

    Explore improv in a playful, supportive, and collaborative environment. These adult classes focus on spontaneity, listening, ensemble connection, and building confidence through “yes, and” storytelling. Whether you’re brand new or looking to expand your skills, improv offers a fun way to stay present, think creatively, and connect with others. Classes may include scene work, games, musical improv, and performance-based exercises depending on the session. Designed for all levels, these offerings support curiosity, risk-taking, and joyful creative exploration.
