Now Accepting Proposals for BPA’s Studio Series

Bainbridge Performing Arts is excited to announce that submissions are now open for our Studio Series, an initiative designed to support intimate, artist-driven productions in the Cynthia Sears Studio. Created as a complement to BPA’s Mainstage season, the Studio Series offers local theatre makers an opportunity to develop and present compelling new works while receiving vital production support.

Through this program, BPA provides selected artists with access to performance and rehearsal space, technical and marketing assistance, and administrative infrastructure. While BPA does not fully produce Studio Series shows, it collaborates closely with artists to bring their vision to life. The program also includes financial backing through an artist compensation model that features honorariums and a revenue split from ticket sales.

BPA is seeking projects that foster artistic development, introduce fresh perspectives, and contribute to a thriving theatre ecosystem. Artists and theatre groups based in the region are encouraged to apply, particularly those whose work aligns with BPA’s mission of enriching the community through the performing arts.
