Based on the true story of the Rehabilitation Through the Arts program at Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison, the Sing Sing follows Divine G (Colman Domingo), a wrongfully convicted man who discovers purpose and healing through theatre. This event will begin with an introduction of the film by Robin Lynn Smith, founder of Freehold Theatre’s Engaged Theatre program, which brings theatre performances and workshops to Washington State correctional facilities.
