Outside Mullingar

November 14-17 - SOLD OUT!

Directed by Cindy Giese French.
Starring Molly Hall, Jason Gingold, Bill Johns, and Judith Shahn

Bainbridge Performing Arts and Circle of Fire Theatre proudly present Outside Mullingar, the inaugural production in our new Studio Series, a lineup of intimate, dramatic performances set in the Cynthia Sears Studio. This critically acclaimed play by John Patrick Shanley (Doubt, Moonstruck) is a heartwarming, bittersweet romantic comedy that explores themes of love, land, and legacy in rural Ireland.

Set against the backdrop of the Irish countryside, Outside Mullingar tells the story of two neighboring families whose lives have been intertwined for generations. As the specter of inheritance looms, Anthony and Rosemary, two quirky misfits on either side of a land dispute, must navigate family feuds, personal insecurities, and long-buried feelings. Their journey of discovery reveals that hope and connection can emerge from even the most unexpected places.

We are thrilled to launch this partnership with such a poignant and powerful production, directed by Cindy Giese French, and featuring a stellar cast of Bainbridge favorites including Molly Hall, Jason Gingold, Bill Johns, and Judith Shahn. Their chemistry and charm bring Shanley’s witty, emotionally rich dialogue to life, making this a show you won’t want to miss.
