BPA is Seeking a New Music Director & Conductor
Bainbridge Performing Arts (dba Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra) is presently seeking a Music Director & Conductor. The successful candidate for this part-time contract position will help rebuild and lead a thriving volunteer community orchestra and report to the BPA Executive Director. Generally, the BSO concerts and rehearsals will be held at the new Buxton Center for Bainbridge Performing Arts on Bainbridge Island. Finalists will be invited to conduct a program in our 2023-24 season and the new Music Director’s tenure will begin with the 2024-25 season.

Bainbridge Performing Arts and Far Away Entertainment, known around the Island as Bainbridge Cinemas, are proud to announce an exciting new partnership to bring live theatre to the Pavillion. BPA will move production of live performances to Theater 3 of Bainbridge Cinemas at the Pavilion during the renovation of what will soon be re-named “The Buxton Center for Bainbridge Performing Arts.”

Seeking Video Auditions for "All Together Now"
Bainbridge Performing Arts is accepting video submissions for our production of MTI’s All Together Now! A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre, Directed and Music Directed by Josh Anderson.
DETAILS
Performances will be November 12th & 13th at 7:30PM, and November 14th at 3:00PM at our soon-to-be-announced new temporary home, within walking distance of BPA and the ferry.
Rehearsals will begin in mid-September and will be a mix of remote and in-person and ferry passes will be provided for our Seattle-area cast members for rehearsals and performances.
