From ancient Europe comes this tale of the young King Deramo who longs to find himself a new queen. After a lengthy, painful, and fruitless search, he encounters the devious sorcerer Tartaglia who has strange and magical powers. In the enchanted forest of Miracoli the young king meets Angela and will do anything to win her over, even if it means being transformed into the magical stag. Mystery, magic, and mayhem suffuse this classic tale and quest for love and acceptance adapted by Steven Fogell.
