Bainbridge Island Review

This second of two summer Shakespeare sessions spans Shakespeare’s Comedy plays - Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Comedy of Errors, and his tragedy plays - King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, and Othello. Students dive into a fluid language that has been quoted and used for over 400 years, discovering learning technique, language, and the proper approach to some of the best plays ever written. Each class includes monologues, sonnets, scenes, and excerpts from dozens of Shakespeare’s most beloved work. Fight choreography, staged scenes, and musical movement are included.
