The EDGE Improv delivers laughs for all ages at 7:30 p.m., and then joins The Viola Question, one of Yale University’s oldest comedy groups, for a late-night (Blue) show at 10:00 p.m. This special Bainbridge Island engagement is part of The Viola Question’s Spring 2010 Tour and stars Bainbridge High School graduate Sean Fraga as well as Brandon Berger, Charlie Croom, Alex Klein, Nell Klugman, Sam Lasman, Clare Randt, Max Saltarelli, Gabriel Seidman, Susannah Shattuck, and John Yates. Sean is absolutely thrilled to be back at BPA, saying, “BPA Theatre School is where I first fell in love with theatre. I grew up watching the EDGE every month at BPA and I'm honored that The Viola Question will be joining them on March 6.”

For more than sixteen years, The EDGE Improv has inspired rave reviews, delivering on-the-spot comedy, all from audience suggestions. The Viola Question’s performances also take the form of unscripted comedic scenes and plotlines. Guided by audience suggestions and participation, they employ a simple-set of rules, i.e., improv games that frame their performances as unique, interesting and creative. Some of The Viola Question’s signature games are Circle of Death and The Oracle.

Since its founding in 1986, The Viola Question has performed at many notable venues, including The Second City Chicago, Atlantic City, The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre of New York, Caroline's of New York, Standup NY, The Comic Strip, ComedySportz, Level 3 Communications (A Fortune 500 Company), ImprovOlympics, Providence's Perishable Theater, and Branford College at Yale University.

Members of The Viola Question have recently performed with Tina Fey (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock), Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock), Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live), Stephen Colbert (The Daily Show, The Colbert Report), Gilbert Gottfried (The Aristocrats), Julia Roberts (Mona Lisa Smile) and Kevin Nealon (Saturday Night Live, Weeds).

The EDGE Improv is suitable for all ages and includes one 15-minute intermission. Following a second intermission, The Viola Question takes the stage for a late-night (Blue) Improv Pay-What-You-Can performance, with a portion of the proceeds going to Mercy Corps to benefit Haiti.
