Join The EDGE for an ingeniously improvised evening of on-the-spot comedy, all from audience suggestions. For more than sixteen years, the troupe’s riotous antics have inspired rave reviews from audience members:

“We look forward to an evening of sheer enjoyment each and every month.”

“I don’t know how they do it. They just come on stage and create instant hilarity.”

“With all the problems we’re having these days it’s a pleasure to have an entertaining ninety minutes with these brilliant performers.”

“Thanks for being a totally reliable picker-upper to offset the sad bits in life.” – Diane Walker

“Loosen up and get ready to laugh! The Edge is filled with spontaneous hilarity for the whole family – rambunctious enough for kids and cerebellum bending for adults – the best thing on Bainbridge for weekend entertainment.” – Alice Thomes

“Yoga for your funny bone! Calisthenics for your brain! Cross training for the psyche! Stream of consciousness hilarity for the whole family!” – Alice Thomes

“The troupe regales audience members with on-the-spot comedy that just can’t be duplicated in any rehearsed performance.”– Cathy Nickum

Those who have never been to an Improv show before will realize right away that nothing The EDGE does is scripted and that the members are literally making it up as they go along. With no pre-conceived notions for dialogue, plot, situation, characters, etc., the troupe works spontaneously with material from audience members.

“For me, improvisation provides magical fleeting moments of brilliance or insanity, never again to be witnessed. It is like a shooting star moment. You can’t create it again and you have to be there to feel it.” – Ken Ballenger, The EDGE troupe member

The EDGE members look forward to entertaining viewers for a long time to come and aspire to give YOU “something wonderful, right away!”
