BPA Staffing Rates and Estimates
To ensure the maximum quality of services to patrons of BPA, the following structure of staffing is required:
Front of House Staff
Staffing for ushers is based on total ticket sales. 2 ushers are a minimum. Usher staff is composed of:
• One house manager
•
Two ticket attendants
• Four ushers
• Two box office attendants
Security
BPA reserves the right to determine security needs for each event. Criteria for security needs include the number of tickets sold and the touring history of the artist.
Technical Personnel
One technician is included with the rental and shall be present at all rehearsals and for the show. We ask that a technical rider and stage plot with all pertinent information concerning production specifics be provided to the production manager at least two weeks prior to the performance date(s). The following is a per hour rate for specific positions:
Additional lighting crew, additional sound, spot operators, stage crew, load-in/load-out personnel: $20.00/hr. 4hr. Minimum.
BPA LOADING/LIABILITY/RIGHTS
Load-in
Loading facilities are located on the south side of the building. Access to the stage is by means of doors 14 feet high leading directly from the loading area through the shop to the stage. All access to the theatre is at street level.
Event Liability Insurance
Lessee or presenter must take full responsibility for and provide the required insurance certification as described in the Booking Contract portion of this information packet.
Performing Rights Fees
Applicable fees due for royalties or any other performing rights are the sole responsibility of the Lessee.
• Merchandising & Concessions
• All city and state taxes are the responsibility of the lessee.

Food and beverages are not permitted in the theatre.
The lessee must acquire a liquor license and conform to all local, state, and federal regulations about the service, selling and consumption of alcohol.
TICKETING SERVICES, POLICIES, FEES AND TAXES
There is a bank charge of 3% for all charge card ticket sales. This charge is the responsibility of the lessee and will be subtracted from the lessee's portion of the gross revenue realized from the performance(s).
For additional fees, BPA can provide:
• Hard copy ticket office
• Charge by phone
• Daily ticket accounting procedures
Prompt ticket settlement with full documentation of sales and expenses.

12 channel Snakehead is wall mounted USC on the South Wall and
terminates at the Mixing Console. To have a mic cable go from
snakehead to DSC, a 50' mic cable is needed. BPA has a limited
supply of XLR3 mic cable.

We can send 2 discreet monitor sends. 2 - 50' monitor
speaker cables are available.

Grid Power
20 - L21-20 receptacles on 8' by 16' grid on lighting grid provide 3 phase-20A provide power to IPS strips and other requirements. Limited adapter breakouts available that provide 3 20a-120v circuits.
Stage, Backstage & Power Facilities
Stage size
Complete stage area is 48' wide by 32' deep. Playing area is traditionally 32'wide x 30'deep.
This is a black box style theatre with seating along the north wall of the building and the stage along the south side. There is no proscenium and minimal wing space off left and right.
Drapes
Main curtain is 26oz red velour with pull stage right and located 8' upstage of the front row of seats.
10 - 10'x18'6” Black Velour Legs are available. They are dead hung from grid in traditional proscenium stage format to provide a 32'w playing area with three 8' deep wing spaces.
Black Scrim 40'X19' available for rental for an additional $50.00/show.
White Cyc hung upstage is available at no additional charge.
Travellers
There is one midstage traveller with pull stage left. Midstage traveller is 14' Upstage of the downstage edge. Please check with production manager to ensure availability.
Projection Screen and Video Projectors
A free-standing 9’x12’ Da-Lite Fast Fold deluxe projection screen with full black velour valance kit and both rear and front projection screens (approximately 16’ x 16’ when set up) is available for rental for an additional $100/ performance. Please note- screen takes about an hour to set up. This projection screen is also available for offsite rental (indoor only) for $150/ day including set up and strike by our technicians.
A Boxlight MP60e 3500 lumen and a 3M x 75 3500 lumen video projector are available for rental for an additional $50/performance each. Renter must provide computer or other video-producing device (DVD player, VCR, IPOD, Laptop, etc). Interface is via VGA cable terminating in the lighting control booth.
Dressing rooms
One large dividable 40x20 dressing room on stage level
One 20x20 Dressing room available upstairs
Both Dressing rooms have mirrors and tables can be set up in rooms.
Electrical Service
Located Up Stage Right
Panel C is a 200 AMP, 120/208 3 Phase with lugs. Qualified and approved electrician is required to do electrical tie-in.
Other general information

Parking: Parking for evening events located on-site and in adjacent lots. All parking around the building is free.

Ferry: Ten-minute walk from Bainbridge Island-Seattle ferry terminal.

Restaurants: Several world-class restaurants and myriad casual restaurants within 5-minute walk of theatre.

Shopping: Downtown shops including a grocery store and a drug store within 5-minute walk of theatre.

Post Office: Four-minute walk from BPA.

Bus Services: Kitsap Transit provides limited service to all of Bainbridge Island and Kitsap County from downtown Bainbridge Island. Ferry service to Seattle lands you close several Metro Transit routes.
